Intro
Welcome to the official staff documentation for Eternia: Chronicles of Meranthe.
If you are new/returning, please read First Steps before handling tickets. It covers the essentials you need to keep in mind at all times; do not skip it.
THIS IS YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER.
This guide serves as the central source of information for the administration team, providing clear guidance on rulings, procedures, and day-to-day responsibilities. The purpose is to ensure that staff members have a consistent reference when handling tickets, resolving player disputes, navigating complex situations, and managing other administrative matters.
The primary goal of this documentation is to establish a unified standard for staff decisions and actions. By maintaining our policies, procedures, and precedents in a single location, we can be sure of:
- Consistency in rulings and enforcement
- Fairness across all player interactions
- Transparency in administrative decisions
- Efficiency when resolving issues and answering questions
All in all, this documentation is hoping to help in preventing conflicting rulings while also providing a reliable reference for all members of the team. Both those who will come after and the ones who are already estabilished within the team.
It is also aiming to help moderators and administrators act on their own, reducing discussions over rulings and previous rulings, avoiding further conflict within the staff and providing the team with a reliable source of tutorials in how to admin.
All of this is subject to change with discussion and the development of new tools.
Staff Resources
In addition to policies and guidelines, this documentation contains practical resources and tutorials for both new and experienced staff members, including:

- Player dispute resolution
- Sprite tuning and other things

- Unique stance setup

- Other staff tools and responsibilities
How to navigate
Use the search bar at the top of the page to quickly locate specific topics, keywords, policies, or procedures.
If a situation has been encountered before, the relevant guidance can likely be found within this documentation.
Otherwise, suggest adding it after the ruling is done and discussed between the team.
Note: When making a ruling, always consult the documentation first to ensure consistency with existing policies, procedures, and precedents.
If any questions still remain despite reading the documentation, then please bring it up with the team so they can help resolve them.
