How to create items

warning

Always create and edit items in the breakroom (Teleport NPC → .Breakroom).

Spawning items

When you teleport to the breakroom, click the refresh icon in Spawn Anything before spawning. The item always appears underneath you — if you skip refresh, it can spawn in the wrong place.

tip

Spawn in the breakroom first, then drop the item to the player. Do not spawn it on top of them.

Creating items

You will do this often for dev materials, armor, and unique weapons.

  1. Teleport to .breakroom.
  2. Spawn a base item (examples below).
  3. Use Edit to set stats and all item properties.
  4. Duplicate the item when you are done.
  5. Deliver the copy to the player.
TypeExample spawn
MaterialPROP (invisible when spawned — preferred for materials)
WeaponEXALTED_STAFF
ArmorARCANIUM_CHEST

You can start from any matching item. Any chest works for armor; any weapon works for a weapon. The names above are just convenient bases.

Guild requirement

Use Edit → guild req and enter the faction/guild name as registered in-game: lowercase, no spaces.

The exact string is in debug → faction_name, or via the Join Guild command.

Example: Caethir → caethirprincedom

Item debug slots

If the item is in the wrong equipment slot, debug it and set the slot:

SlotEquipment
2Torso
3Legs
4Head
5Hands
6Feet
7Cloak
8Ring
9Weapon
10Pendant
11Other
12Glasses
13Shield
14Light
15Secondary
16Hair
17Crown
18Necklace
19Earring
20Prop

Ranged weapon tag

Debug the weapon's projectile variable:

  • 1 — arrow
  • 2 — bullet

Nyctorre resource

Applying the Nyctorre resource grants a weapon -5 vit, +10 pow, +2 holy def.

It must be manually removed. On removal, set special_resource_applied to 0.
